I'll still be swinging by. If I wasn't, then you wouldn't be seeing this response. :P
And IF I ever do manage to get very far into the plot (to the point where it's likely to be completed very soon) then I'll be sure to put it out there. But until then, nothing else will be said.

If you're going towards a music career you could always make some music for games.
I'm not a music composer, and even if I was I really wouldn't want to focus on composing video game tracks. I am a drummer who mostly plays heavy/speed metal. I just can't take video games seriously anymore.

But yeah, I can understand where you're coming from. Don't blame it all on the software though. Making a game is not easy and it's a lot of stress and trouble (no matter what engine or software you use). It takes a lot of dedication and with RPG Maker it's hard to find others who will have the same dedication for your game (unless you pay them).
I somewhat agree. Fortunately, I lasted way longer than just one town map and one boss fight. It's really a shame however that all that hard work had to go down the drain. I am awful at making games on my own -- especially ones like this. This project pressured me a lot, and when people refuse to help contribute to your game regardless is where I draw the line and just call it quits. I am not getting paid to make this game, and for legal reasons I am not allowed to sell it (contains copyrighted material).

Good luck on your new projects! And if you ever feel like giving it another try (in a few years maybe), I'll suggest that you try to make something smaller (a game can still be great even if it's small).
People have often suggested me this, but really I've only had one project and it's Runic Cipher. I believe that one decent project is better than having a crapload of random games which will be easily forgotten by most.
I am not really interested in arguing any further. What's done is done. No, I haven't deleted this project -- because as I said back up there, it's just going to sit somewhere safe. Maybe I will pick it up again a year from now or two? Only time will tell. Right now, I want nothing to do with RPG Maker. If only more people offered to help me out on this game then I'd be willing.
